Annual Enrollment Period Is Here

Every year we in the insurance industry think the same thing, “Can you believe open enrollment is here already?” It’s an exciting time of year here at Hargrove Financial. We get to visit with all of our clients to perform annual plan reviews and assist many more people each year in choosing the best plan for them for the coming year. Some are confused on the coverage they have, some simply want to make sure there are no major changes to their plan, and some have had changes in doctors or prescriptions that require their plan to be changed for the upcoming year.

Here are some important dates for you to remember during open enrollment:

Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): October 15-December 7th, 2017 – During this time you can change your Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan to take effect on January 1st, 2018.  It is important to review your plan each year with an agent.

Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period: January 1st – February 14th, 2018 – If you’re in a Medicare Advantage plan, you may switch back to original Medicare and select a Prescription Drug Plan.  Always consult with your agent before making this change.

As an independent insurance agency, we work with all of the major Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement carriers so we always have the perfect plan fit for our clients.  Medicare is not a one size fits all situation, and we take each client case by case to match them up with the perfect plan for their needs.

We are available for personal consultations by appointment during the annual enrollment period.  Appointments generally take less than an hour and are always free of charge.  Give us a call today to schedule an appointment and make sure you are on the right plan for next year: (360) 450-5013.  Or learn more about Medicare and the carriers we work with at www.HargroveFinancial.com/Medicare.
